What to Bring

We often get asked what people need to bring to the house for their vacation. It is a difficult thing to answer. You should bring what you will enjoy and will make you comfortable. We can, however, tell you what you do not have to worry about bringing.

What You DON’T Need to Bring

We supply the following items so you don’t have to worry about them.

  • Linens
  • Towels
  • Pillows
  • Dish and laundry soap
  • Toilet paper (a reasonable supply to start)
  • Dog food and water bowls
  • Hose on front of house for washing off sand

What You Should Consider Bringing

  • Beach towels (we prefer our towels don’t leave the house)
  • Tupperware or left-over containers to take food home
  • A flashlight (there should be one in the house as well)
  • Cash (a lot of small businesses only take cash)
  • Dog blankets and toys
  • Firewood if you wish to use the fireplace
  • Food (there is a grocery store in Rockaway and Fred Meyer in Tillamook—15 minutes away)
  • Laptop computer with wireless card
